ABOUT

WHAT IS SOFT DIVIDER?

SOFT DIVIDER IS AN ART PROJECT STARTED BY MIMOKO WAKATSUKI IN 2018. THE STARTING POINT OF THE PROJECT IS THE REALIZATION THAT MESH MATERIAL IS A DIVIDER THAT SOFTLY DIVIDES THE WORLD. THIS PROJECT IS AN EXPERIMENTAL DEVELOPMENT FOCUSING ON THE UNIQUE AESTHETICS AND FUNCTIONALITY OF MESH MATERIALS.

SOFT DIVIDER IS ALSO A SMALL INDEPENDENT BRAND. ALTHOUGH IT IS A BRAND, IT DIFFERS FROM THE FAST-CHANGING TRENDS, AND ITS PRODUCTS ARE DEVELOPED BASED ON DISCOVERIES OBTAINED THROUGH OUR OWN RESEARCH. SOFT DIVIDER EXPLORES THE SIGNIFICANCE OF MESH MATERIALS AND INCORPORATES EXISTING MESH MATERIALS INTO OBJECTS AND PRODUCTS. THEY CAN BE USED IN DAILY LIFE AND ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO EXPERIENCE THE FUNCTIONS OF MESH MATERIALS.
